Janice Jones is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant, a fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and is board certified through the NCCPA.

Janice graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology. She received her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Her work in research in asthma and cardiac development at the University of Nevada, Reno and University of Illinois has been published in peer-reviewed journals. Janice has served as an instructor for Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois teaching Anatomy & Physiology.

Janice started practicing medicine as a Physician Assistant in 2007, specializing in dermatology since 2013. She has experience in medical dermatology, managing disorders of the skin for all ages and all skin types, and performing skin cancer screenings.
Janice is a clinician who is known to have a warm and professional style. She takes time with her patients, answering all their questions and developing an individual treatment regimen tailored to their needs.
Janice moved back to Nevada with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys various outdoor activities including cycling, hiking and gardening.
