Alan Tack, M.D.

Dr. D. Alan Tack joined Carson Dermatology in 2005. He moved to Nevada at an early age and grew up in Las Vegas. Dr. Tack attended UNLV, where he obtained a Bachelor in Science. He then received his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Dr. Tack performed both his Internal Medicine Internship and Dermatology Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During his training, Dr. Tack received extensive experience in medical and surgical dermatology and was also published in professional journals.

Following his residency, Dr. Tack practiced medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology in Ponte Vedra, Florida for two years prior to returning to Nevada. He also received additional experience in Mohs surgery and developed a special interest in skin cancer treatment.

Dr. Tack is board certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (Mohs Surgery).  He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Tack has been a part of the Carson City community since 2005. His hobbies include golf, traveling and spending time with his family.
